Mission Viejo Community Programs
The Mission Viejo HOA provides valuable community services to neighborhood residents through
our membership program, including large-item trash pickup and various community events.
Large-Item Trash Pickup - 2026 Schedule
Spring Collection: March 2026 (date TBA)
Fall Collection: October 2026 (date TBA)
Location: Holy Love Church
Time: 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM
Member Early Access: 1 hour before general public
Pricing & Access
- FREE for Members: Current HOA members receive complimentary service
- Non-Members: $30 per load
- Member Benefits: Early access starting 1 hour before general public
Accepted Items
The large-item pickup accepts most household items that cannot be disposed of through regular trash collection, including:
- Furniture (sofas, chairs, tables, dressers)
- Appliances (refrigerators, washers, dryers - must be empty)
- Mattresses and box springs
- Exercise equipment
- Electronics (TVs, computers, printers)
- Yard equipment (lawn mowers - gas must be drained)
Not Accepted
- Hazardous materials (paint, chemicals, oil)
- Tires
- Construction debris
- Batteries
- Fluorescent bulbs
Membership Benefits

Annual membership registration is available year-round. Visit our
Membership Portal for online registration and payment,
or contact us for alternative payment options.
Important: Membership must be current to receive free large-item pickup.
Registrations received within 7 days of a collection date may not be processed in time
for that collection.
